Novitiate Spiritual Journey

The Spiritual Heart of Formation

The Novitiate is considered the heart of the formation process. This two-year period is dedicated to helping novices better understand their divine vocation, experience the congregation’s way of life, and form their minds and hearts in its spirit.

First Year
The Canonical Year

Entirely intended for the spiritual and internal formation of the Novice through prayer, study, and reflection.

Second Year
Apostolic Experience

Novices are given the opportunity for apostolic activities, living out the charism in the mission field.

Primary Objectives

Relationship with Jesus

Deepening a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as the center of one's life.

Understanding the Vows

A profound study and interiorization of the evangelical counsels: Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience.

Living the Charism

Internalizing the Vincentian spirit of service to the poorest of the poor.

Deepen Your Commitment

The Novitiate is a sacred time of becoming. Let us guide you through this profound transformation.
