The pivotal attempt of SCV on social development, building just societies through community-led empowerment.
SCV ROSS (Rural Organization for Social Service) represents the congregation's most focused effort to tackle the root causes of poverty and marginalization. Operating primarily in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ROSS serves as an umbrella for multiple innovative programmes designed to help people help themselves.
We believe that a peaceful and just society is only possible when the weakest members—orphans, the destitute, and marginalized women—are empowered with the tools to reclaim their rights and dignity.
"Give justice to the weak and to the orphan, maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute." (Psalms 82:3-4)
